Talented Shaneen, aged 12

Last night, 12 year old dimple-faced Shaneen from Swansea, Wales stormed into the semi-finals of Britain’s got Talent. To much off the audience’s and viewer’s surprise, Simon Cowell stopped the youngster from singing “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse after only a few seconds and said, “You’ve got this really wrong,” even though he sounded quite good. Simon asked him “do you sing anything else?” and Shaneen decided too sing a Michael Jackson number,”Who’s loving you” and brought the house down with his amazing voice.

This is why Simon Cowell is pure genius. Simon spotted the talent  and potential of this young crooner and rightly asked him to sing a better song to suit his voice. The moment he opened his mouth, I had goosebumps all around. He has such a big voice for such a young boy.
With Susan Boyle cracking America with her audition and now this uber-talented 12 year old, the competion is definately hotting up.
